2 Hours Before Flight Time
When booking a gorilla trek and chimpanzee trek in Rwanda with us, You can expect an unforgettable adventure filled with unique wildlife encounters and stunning natural landscapes. Rwanda is renowned for its lush rainforests and pristine national parks, which serve as the backdrop for these extraordinary wildlife experiences. During a gorilla trek, visitors will embark on a guided journey to track and observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, an awe-inspiring and humbling encounter that few places in the world can offer. Similarly, a chimpanzee trek provides the opportunity to observe these intelligent and lively primates in their native surroundings.
Expect to be immersed in the sights and sounds of the Rwandan jungle, guided by experienced rangers and researchers who share their knowledge and passion for conservation. Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will go through custom and immigration, and you will be met by our company guide and later drive to your booked hotel accommodation for check in, if time permits you will have a quick city tour and learn more about Rwanda History, come back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Meal Plan: Half board basis
In the morning after breakfast, hit the road heading to the southern side of the country, you will make this day a cultural and history experience by visiting King’s palace in Nyanza to explore Rwanda in kingdom time, and visit ethnographic museum as a biggest and first museum of the country, after lunch, you will head off to visit the Nyungwe forest for a canopy walk, for a great tree top view and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Meal Plan: Full board basis
Today, after your early morning cap of African coffee, you will leave your hotel to experience the natural forest of Nyungwe well known for having 13 species of primates, and transferred to the park for briefing and chimpanzee trekking. You will be entitled to one hour on finding the chimpanzees. After doing the chimpanzee trek, you will transfer to Volcanoes National park via Kibuye through the beautiful Congo Nile trail that rewards you with stunning view of Lake Kivu, and the neighboring villages and stay overnight to your hotel.

Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the briefing from the park officials and thereafter enter the jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their lifestyle in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour gazing into their big round eyes.
On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and
mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movement of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience in Rwanda, you will have informative memorable experience in life.
In the afternoon, you will head for cultural experience at Iby iwacu cultural center, had a great taste of Rwanda culture. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

The last day of Adventure, with a relaxed breakfast, you will have this day as relaxing, visit local cooperative for shopping souvenirs and parking according to your departure time, drive back to Kigali for resting and relaxing and catching up the flight.
