The Gorilla Permit Experience

At Go Primate Adventure, we understand the value of this exceptional encounter with our distant cousins, the mountain gorillas. To ensure a sustainable and enriching experience, the Rwandan government restricts the number of visitors to the gorillas and allocates gorilla permits accordingly. A total of 96 gorilla permits are usually available each day, providing an opportunity for nature enthusiasts and adventurers to witness these majestic creatures up close.
These permits are allocated across the 12 habituated gorilla groups, with each group receiving eight permits daily. This limited access not only preserves the gorillas’ natural habitat but also guarantees an intimate and unforgettable experience for our guests.
