Overview
Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the Hotel
You begin your magical holiday as you board your flight to Rwanda, a country of a thousand hills. On arrival at Kigali International Airport, You will be picked up by our professional safari guide upon your arrival, who will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight and dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: Kigali to Akagera National Park, Travel time +2 hrs
After the breakfast by 7am, we head to the impressive Akagera National Park, comprised of a blend of wetland, savannah grassland and woodland. Some of the wildlife you will see here includes: Giraffes, Buffaloes and Elephants as well as a profusion of birds. On reaching the park, we shall head for a short game drive in search of these wildlife in the park, and if fortunate, we may be able to sight the Shoebill Stork, especially around the shores of the lakes. In the Afternoon embark on a captivating boat trip on Lake Ihema, where you’ll have the chance to observe crocodiles, hippos and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. Later back to the lodge for the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3:Full game drive in Akagera National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will set off for a game drive in Akagera National Park to witness the park come alive with activity. This is the best time to catch sight of early risers and late-night hunters as they roam the savannah. The drive will take you across the park from the southern to the northern sector, where you’ll have the opportunity to spot magnificent wildlife that including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, various antelope species, and the recently reintroduced lions and rhinos. Akagera’s diverse landscapes from woodland to wetland, make it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and bird lovers alike, boasting over 500 recorded bird species. After a rewarding day of exploration and photography, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer from Akagera National park to Volcanoes National park Via Kigali
In the morning after the breakfast, depart Akagera National Park and journey towards Volcanoes National Park. Along the way, enjoy the scenic winding roads and picturesque landscapes of Rwanda. Make a stopover in Kigali for the Kigali Genocide memorial centre visit and having a delightful lunch before continuing your journey north to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival at your lodge you shall relax while waiting the diner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Kigali
Have an early breakfast and then get briefed by the park officials about the rules of visiting the park. After, enter the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy exploring their homes. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit in close proximity and visit with these great apes for a whole hour. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as hiking shoes, packed food and water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or a whole day, depending on the movement of these primates. After this gorilla trekking experience in Rwanda, You will carry cherished memories of your time with us in Rwanda.
